Accounts is the second step in setting up the Chart of Accounts.


This function is used to define the Accounts for Cost Centres or Divisions in the company.


An Account belongs to either a Cost Centre or a Division, which determines its level.  Classed into Income or Balance Sheet accounts, Accounts can either be active or suspended and can be managed by an account responsible person.


The account responsible person can be another person other than the natural account manager, being either the Cost Centre or Division manager/accountant.
