On this tab the following fields can be viewed:
The generic asset group named Asset Groups is always displayed as the top level asset group. Double click on the tree structure icon
Selecting an asset group in this tree structure displays the linked asset groups and assets in the Grouped Assets list box. Use the Expand Up To Level spinner to set the number of levels you want to view.
To delete an existing asset group, select a group in the structure and click on the Delete button.
To create a new asset group, double click on the entry named (New Group) in the Ungrouped Assets grid and enter the new asset group name. Select the new group by using the select button
To change a description of a group, double click on a group description in the Asset Groups list box, and change the description.

This button is used to delete an asset group. This may only be done if the asset group has no assets linked to it.
To unlink the assets from the selected asset group, highlight the asset group and select all the assets that appear in the Grouped Assets list box, then unlink the assets by using the

When the Asset Groups window is opened, only the first levels of groups in the structure are displayed.
The assets linked to the individual groups can be viewed by clicking on an asset group or by clicking the spinner control.

When the generic asset group is selected in the Asset Group Structure, the Grouped Assets list box will display the asset groups. When an asset group is selected in the Asset Group Structure, the Grouped Assets list box will display the list of assets linked to that specific asset group.
The grid is used to change and delete groups and view the Asset Group Structure.

This grid is populated with the asset numbers and descriptions from the Asset Master where the asset has not yet been linked to an asset group. Asset Groups not yet linked are also listed.
