On this tab the following fields can be viewed:
When this option is selected, the Responsible Person field is disabled.
When a person has already accepted responsibility for an asset (status is Accepted A), another responsibile person cannot be requested.
A person cannot accept responsibility for a new asset without it being requested first. An employee can accept responsibility for an asset after he/she has first rejected it.

The user must have a security profile linked to the function Asset Information with an access allowed of Change. When the Apply button is clicked, the following updates are performed:

When an asset is deleted, the asset responsible person history is also deleted.

This list box displays the history of responsibilities during the life of the selected asset.
It displays the From Date, Responsible Person, Status (Requested R, Rejected J, or Accepted A), Location, Zone, and Comments from the Asset Responsible Person table, as well as the Surname, First Name, and Middle Initial from the Employee Master table.

The user must have a security profile linked to the function Asset Information with an access allowed of Change.
The Cancel button is only enabled when the user has the correct security profile and is either the Asset Responsible Person, Acting for the Asset Responsible Person, Asset Controller, or Acting for the Asset Controller .
When the Cancel button is selected, the asset responsible record is deleted from the Asset Responsible table for the selected asset number, and responsible From Date. The asset responsible record can only be canceled if it has a status of Requested R.
When the Cancel button is clicked, a mail is sent to the requester notifying him thereof.

These are general comments accompanying the responsibility work flow. It is mandatory when rejecting a new responsibility.
It is an alphanumeric field with a maximum length of 100 characters (optional).

This field defaults to the current date and is mandatory when a new responsible person is selected.
A date earlier than or equal to the current date must be specified. Where a history record exists, this date must be greater than the last From Date.

It displays the location of the selected asset from the Asset Responsible Person table.
The location to be selected is from predefined locations that have been created in the Location Master function. Only locations where the Assets application has been defined will be populated for selection.
If a zone is selected then only locations which belong to the specific zone will be populated.
The location is mandatory.
The location can be changed when the user accepts or rejects responsibility.

When this option is selected, the Responsible Person field is disabled. A person cannot reject responsibility for a new asset without it being requested first.
Responsibility may only be rejected where the status is Requested R.

When this option is selected, a new responsible employee must be selected from the Responsible Person field.
When this option is selected and there is already a responsible person with the status of Requested "R", in the grid, a message is displayed indicating that a new responsible person has already been requested.
Only the current responsible person may request a new responsible person.

This person is responsible for all physical aspects of the asset. This is typically the person to which the asset is allocated.
It is populated with the Surname, First Name, Middle Initial, and Employee ID from the Employee Master table where the status of the employee is Active A.
The number of characters to be entered before the list is shown is governed by the value of populate length (mandatory).
This field is disabled, when the Asset Responsibility Status options selected are either Accept New Responsibility or Reject New Responsibility.

The zone of the selected asset from the Asset Responsible Person table is displayed.
The zone to be selected is from predefined zones that are created in the Location Master function.
The zone is optional.
The zone can be changed when the user accepts or rejects responsibility.
