The Bank Branch Function is used to define the bank branches used by your company and your suppliers/customers.  The bank branch function will keep all data related to banking institutions. A banking institution can have more than one branch, therefore per Bank Branch a Parent Branch can be specified. Your company can have more than one bank account per bank branch (e.g. cheque and savings) and therefore more than one Bank Branch Account can be specified. If you want to keep record of the banking details of your suppliers/customers then an Organisation Code can be specified per bank branch account.

 

Security Settings / Who can change

INQUIRE: The user must have a security profile linked to the function Bank Branch with an access allowed of 'Inquire'.
