This is the account number of the account held at the bank branch for the selected Organisation.

 

It is a mandatory field.

 

If only one account exists for the selected Bank Branch, it will default in this field.

 

Once an Account exists for a Branch, it cannot be deleted.

This button is used to add a new Bank Branch Account to the Bank Branch Account table.

 

Security Settings / Who can change

The user must have a security profile linked to the function Bank Branch with an access allowed of Inquire, Add, Change and Delete.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Bank Branch

This is the bank branch code that will be used by Qmuzik to identify a bank branch.   It is populated with all bank branch codes from the Bank Branch table.

 

It is an alphanumeric field and the number of characters to be entered before the list is shown will be governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).

This is the branch code as setup on the first tab Bank Branch.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Bank Details Approved

When this checked box is checked and the search button is clicked, only bank branch account detail that have been approved will be displayed.

This button is used to change Bank Branch accounts from the Bank Branch Account table.

 

Security Settings / Who can change

The user must have a security profile linked to the function Bank Branch with an access allowed of Change.

This button is used to delete Bank Branch accounts from the Bank Branch Account table. No Bank Branch Account can be deleted if a bank branch accounts exist on the Bank Internal table

When Organization is selected the Default Existing Details for A new Record will be active.

If Default Existing Details for A new Record is checked. On adding a new record all the details of the search criteria is defaulted to the line being added.

 

If Default Existing Details for A new Record is not checked. On adding a new record the account number will be empty

A person can be specified as a "sent to" person who has the authority to approve the bank details captured.  This person can update the status to approved.

The grid display all the bank branch account details from the bank branch account and External org bank details tables as per the selected search criteria, when the search button is selected.  A new record can also be added in the grid.

The type of account. This can be check, credit card, current, loan, transmission, saving or other.

 

This field populates out of the bank branch table when new records are added. For inquiry it displays out of the bank branch account table.

 

When doing an inquiry on a bank branch, this field displays the branch code from the Bank Branch table for the selected bank branch.

 

The branch name as specified on the bank branch tab.

 

Selecting this field opens a new form in which the history for the selected row are displayed. This is done by displaying the Bank Branch, Account Number, Effective Date, Branch Code, Beneficiary, Currency, Account type, EFT reference, Requested By, Approve By and status fields of the record.

 

A field where the user can enter their own description to identify the specific bank branch account.

 

The currency for which the record are valid populated from the currency table.

 

This is the date from which the records are approved to be used.

 

An EFT reference number specific to the organization (e.g. Account number) may also be specified. If not then the EFT process will allocate a generic automated reference number. Only EFT transactions where the organisation's bank details has a status of approved, can be selected for final Electronic Funds Transfer file processing. The authority for users to be able to approve bank details, is setup on the Electronic Funds Transfer configuration function.

 

A person can be specified as a "sent to" person who has the authority to approve the bank details captured.  This person can update the status to approved.

 

The max number of transactions allowed per day for the specific bank branch account.

 

External organisation bank details need to have an approval process. The bank details will be added with a status of requested. Specify a sent to person who has the authority to approve the bank details as captured. The status will then be updated to approved.

 

The person that requested the bank details, therefore the person loading it for approval.

 

A person set up on EFT Authority Matrix to do bank detail approvals, need to approve the bank details for an external organsiation.

 

Indicate in which status the bank branch account record are. It can be requested or bank details approved.

 

The max amount in currency units that can be paid per day for the specific bank branch account.

 

The max amount in currency units that can be paid in an transaction for the specific bank branch account.

If your company wants to keep record of your suppliers and/or customers banking details you can link a specific organisation to a bank branch account.  If an organisation is entered this bank branch account will not be seen as your company's own bank but the bank of the supplier or customer selected.

When this checked box is checked and the search button is clicked, only bank branch account detail that are requested will be displayed.

When this button is clicked a search is performed according to the search criteria set up. The results are displayed in the grid.
