The Account details tab is used to inquire on the account/requisition details of each bank transaction. This function is applied to close employee expense requisitions should the advance be fully settled with no remaining advance balance. If necessary to adjust a tax code on a bank transaction, the adjustment is made on this tab and the history can also be viewed in the transaction history listview.

This grid will populate from the "BANK TRANSACTION ACCOUNT" table where the bank code and transaction date time is equal to the transaction selected on the previous tab.

More detail regarding account and requisition number will be displayed in the account details grid. Selecting a specific line to be inquired on in the transaction results tab can access the tab.

Columns that will be displayed in the grid are:

Total amount, amount, tax amount, tax code, account no, requisition number, select to close requisition checkbox and comments. The Select To Close Req check box is only enabled when it is a advance bank transaction.  When the checkbox is clicked it first checks to see if:

 

1.                The requisition is not already Closed (C) or Rejected (R),

 

2.                If there is no outstanding balance against the requisition.

 

3.                If one or both of the above is true, the "Close" button will be disabled. If all of the above are false then the "Close" button will enabled and the operation can be performed.

 

Because more than one account/requisition number can be specified per bank transaction there can be multiple accounts and requisitions that can be displayed.

If adjustments need to be made on the tax code entered, it can be changed but only to a tax code with the same tax percentage than the previous tax code entered. History of these changes will also be kept in the "BANK TRANSACTION HISTORY TABLE" and will be displayed in this list box. When selecting a account details grid entry the history record will also be displayed in this list box.

This list box lists the change history on tax codes for the selected bank transaction.  If no entries are shown it means that the tax code has never been changed.

The "Close" button is enabled when the "Requisition" option is selected and a valid requisition is selected.  When the "Close"  button is clicked it first checks to see if:

 

The requisition is not already Closed (C) or Rejected (R), and There is no "Advance Balance" against the requisition.

 

If one or both of the above are true, the "Close" operation will not be performed.

When selecting an account details grid entry the history record for reconciliation an unreconciliation will be displayed in this list box. All these changes are kept in the table: "BANK TRANSACTION RECONCILED HISTORY" .
