This function aids the user in maintaining the Company Business Model by being able to edit titles and text, insert business areas where needed, and creating jumps to other functions relating to the specific business area.
On this tab the following fields can be viewed:
The "Apply" button is enabled when the "Edit" button is clicked. If the user enters new data in the "Jump" fields and "Apply" is clicked, the jump data entered is placed in the "Text" text box.
Information displayed includes \J = Jump, the name of the screen and the jump text. Once this "Apply" button is clicked, this information is updated. |
The "Cancel" button is enabled when the "Edit" button is clicked. When the "Cancel" button is clicked the default Company Business Model is displayed.

When the form is opened, it displays the default Company Business Model. By double clicking on a shape in the model, it drills down to display the children.
By simply clicking on a line, the user can change the text or title of the shape after clicking the "Edit" button.
By right clicking on a shape, a menu is displayed which allows the user to edit either the Colour (background and text), Shape (it provides a sub menu of available shapes) or delete a shape.

It is populated with divisions and descriptions from the Division table.

This button is displayed when the Edit button is clicked. When the Edit Jump button is clicked, the user can edit the Jump Text data.

The user must have a security profile linked to the function Business Model Maintenance with an access allowed of Change.
When the Edit button is clicked, the "Title" and "Text" fields are enabled allowing the user to edit. The caption on this button changes to Edit Jump and the Apply and Cancel buttons are enabled. |
The user can enter the required text to be displayed on the screen selected (mandatory). |
Allows the user to enter key fields that are separated by semi colons (optional). |

When the button is clicked, the business model currently displayed will be printed to the default printer. |

The allows the user to select areas or lines that they want to create and edit links.
The user can include the following shapes in their business model:
By clicking on a shape on the toolbar, clicking on the Business Model and dragging the shape to the required size, the user creates a new business area. |
It is enabled once the "Edit" button has been clicked. The user can then change the text as required.

The icon allows the user to make the Business Model image smaller. It can have a minimum size of 20%. The allows the user to enlarge the Business Model image up to a maximum size of 100%.
The icon indicates that the business model size is 100%. It is disabled when the icon is used to increase the size of the screen to 100%.
The icon is used to scale the Business Model image, so that it fills the entire screen. |
