The user must have a security profile linked to the function Company Calendar with an access allowed of Change.

The "Apply" button is enabled when you click on the calendar and the existing financial period is changed. When "Apply" is clicked the Company Calendar table is updated.

The company calendar consists of working and non-working days.

Every day is linked to a financial period and the financial period is linked to a financial year.

This is a read only field that displays the currently selected date on the calendar.

It is a check box initiating that a selected day's financial period must be changed.

This is a read only field that displays the financial year from the Financial Period table where the financial period is equal to the financial period selected in the field above.

It represents a period in the business cycle of a company. The beginning and end of a financial year are determined by the financial periods linked to it.

It is populated with the financial period from the Financial Period table and the work date from the Company Calendar table.

The number of characters to be entered before the list is shown is governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).

It identifies a week, month or quarter in a financial year.  The best resolution of financial periods, depends on the amount of the financial control needed.

Specific days/dates for each financial period are specified, by linking calendar days to the financial period.

Non-working days are indicated in grey while the working days are indicated in blue.
