The total of the posting value of all links in the grid, excluding credits, may not exceed, or be less than, the total on the invoice line.  The total tax of all links in the grid may not exceed or be less than the total tax on the invoice line.

When adding a new receipt link, and the order line quantity is greater than zero, for example, 10, and the selected purchase order actual receipt was only 3, a receipt link for a quantity of 10 and a credit link for a quantity of 7 will be (suggested) added to the grid.

If the setting Settlement Discount (Creditors) Automatically Applied on System Configuration is set to on  "1", a settlement discount of type Credit (C) link, will be suggested if the settlement discount percentage is greater than zero.

If a Receipt link (P) is being added, the value of the settlement discount will be calculated using the settlement discount on the Order Line multiplied (as a percentage) by the Nett value (value of Receipt link - value of any Return Credits suggested).

If a Service link (R) is being added, the Def Cred Settlement Discount on the External Organisation will be used to calculate the settlement discount (as a percentage) of the Service link.
