On this tab the following fields can be viewed:

hmtoggle_plus0Include parts with Unplanned Stock Movements

Often unplanned stock movements or stock adjustments are an indication (or cause) of stock inaccuracy, which warrants a stock count to check these parts.

These options allow you to select parts for cycle counting where unplanned stock movements and/or store issue requisitions took place between the selected dates.

If the Store Issue Reqs tickbox is checked then all parts which had store issue requisitions between the specified dates will be considered for cycle counting.

If the Unplanned Receipts/Stock Adjustments checkbox is ticked then all parts which had unplanned receipts/stock adjustments between the specified dates will be included for cycle counting.

hmtoggle_plus0Life Cycle

When "Select All" is selected all the life cycle options are checked.  When "Deselect All" is selected, all the life cycle options are unchecked.

The default for all the life cycle options is "Yes" (checked).

Only parts with the selected life cycle(s) will be considered for cycle counting.  At least one Life Cycle option must be selected.

hmtoggle_plus0Part Master Where Clause

The Part Master Where Clause allows users to enter their own criteria for selecting specific parts based on any column within the Part Master. Use Quick Query to see what the column names are in the Part_Master table. The syntax used in this Where Clause is standard T-SQL with double quotes (do not use single quotes), for example:

Part Master Where Clause

 Meaning

source <> "C"

This will only select Parts that are not Customer Furnished items, i.e. Part_Master.Source is not equal to "C".

planner = "01407090"

Only Parts where the Planner Employee ID on the Part Master is "01407090", will be selected for Cycle Counting.

source <> "C" and planner = "01407090"

This will select only Parts that are not Customer Furnished items and where the Planner is equal to "01407090". In other words the 'and' condition is used to apply both the options above.

part_description like "%motor%"

Only select Parts where the part description contains the word 'motor', i.e. 'Electric motor', 'motor vehicle', 'backup motor charger' - will all be selected.

hmtoggle_plus0Safety Stock Policy

When "Select All" is selected, all the safety stock policy options are checked.  When "Deselect All" is selected, all the safety stock policy options are unchecked.

When "Immediate" is selected, only stock with a safety stock policy of "Immediate" will be considered for cycle counting.

When "Time Phased" is selected, only stock with a safety stock policy of "Time Phased" will be considered for cycle counting.

When "Not Applicable" is selected, all stock regardless of the safety stock policy will be considered for cycle counting.

At least one safety stock policy option must be selected.

hmtoggle_plus0Stock Status

When "Select All" is selected, all the stock status options are checked.  When "Deselect All" is selected, all the stock status options are unchecked.

When "New" is selected, stock with a status of "New" will be considered for cycle counting.

When "Used" is selected, stock with a status of "Used" will be considered for cycle counting.

When "Waiting Repair" is selected, stock with a status of "Waiting Repair" will be considered for cycle counting.

When "Repaired" is selected, stock with a status of "Repaired" will be considered for cycle counting.

At least one stock status option must be selected.
