hmtoggle_plus1Default For 1St Revision Add

When a new sheet is added, the 1st revision number, revision status and revision effective date for the sheet is automatically added by the system as specified in the relevant fields provided in this frame. Type the revision number and select the revision status from the list of statuses. Also specify the effective date. Note: The 1sr revision added for a sheet is not subjected to the change control rules of the document and can be added without an approved change proposal.

hmtoggle_plus1Linked Sheets

All sheets for a selected document are displayed in this list. To delete a sheet or to change the title, select the sheet in the list and click the relevant button to execute the transaction. A sheet, which still has 1 or more linked revisions, cannot be deleted. Delete all relevant revisions prior to deleting the sheet.

hmtoggle_plus1Sheet Number

The Sheet Number represents a specific sheet number for documents such as drawings. If the control is at Sheet level, the numbering starts at one and goes sequentially higher and no gaps may exist in the sequential numbers.

The sheet number is always 0 if the control is at Document Level. It is thus an imaginary sheet to serve the purpose of linking document revisions and no additional sheets may be added.

To add an additional sheet, type the next sequential sheet number or apply the spinner to spin to the next number.

When a new sheet is added, the 1st revision and revision status of such sheet is automatically added by the system as specified in the relevant fields provided.

The function also displays the total number of sheets next to this field.

hmtoggle_plus1Sheets Tab

This tab contains all the sheets for a document.

If the document control level is at 'Sheet level', then multiple sheets can be added, starting with sheet # 1 in ascending number sequence.

If the document control level is at 'Document level', then multiple sheets cannot be added and only sheet # 0 will be permitted. The 1st sheet for a document is auto-created when a new document is added for the 1st time and the document title is applied as the sheet title. This can be modified after the document has been added.

Every sheet has its own revisions and change history. For documents at control level 'Document', sheet # 0 is always applied to display the current active revision for a document.

For documents at control level 'Sheet', sheet # 1 is always applied to Display the current active revision for a document.

When a new sheet is added, the 1st revision and revision status of such sheet is automatically added by the system.

Document sheet data is inserted to the table Document_Sheets
