The second tab Authority Matrix is used to define delegated responsibility for different approval actions.  The different authority profiles that can be allocated are : First and Second Approval and then also a profile to allow approval of bank details.  The approval of bank details is done on the function bank branch , on the bank branch account tab. The system will only allow specific users to be able to approve EFT's according to the values as setup on this matrix.

 

On this tab the following fields can be viewed:

This will apply the record and insert into the table EFT_Authority_Matrix.

 

A security profile linked to the function EFT_Authority_Matrix are needed to apply transactions.

This combo box will populate all employees from employee Master table. By selecting an employee and selecting the inquiry button; all records where the specific employee has approved an authorization record will be displayed.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Authorised Action

This combo box will populate with all possible authorization profiles. By selecting an authorized action and selecting the inquiry button; all records will be displayed where the specific action is applicable.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Authorised Employee

This combo box will populate all employees from employee Master table. By selecting an employee and selecting the inquiry button; all records where the specific employee has an authorization record will be displayed.

This will delete the record from the table EFT_Authority_Matrix.

 

A security profile linked to the function EFT_Authority_Matrix are needed to apply transactions.

This grid will show results according to the criteria selected. New records can be added at the bottom of the grid.

 

The columns that are shown are:

 

Authorised Employee  - This is the authorized employee for the specific record of Only users with the profile: EFT AUTHORITY MATRIX APPROVAL will populate in this function to be allowed records to be loaded for them.
Authorised Employee ID - this is the employee ID for the authorized employee of  the specific record.
From Date - this is the from date from which the record is valid.
To Date - this is the to date to which the record is valid.
Authorised Action  the following actions can be requested:
oFirst Approval - this will allow the authorized person first approval rights for only the dedicated period as approved.
oSecond Approval - this will allow the authorized person second approval rights for only the dedicated period as approved.
oBank Details Approval - this will allow the authorized person to approve bank details entered for external organisations.
Status - This will show the status of the record. The status can be requested, approved or rejected. When a record is still in requested status the record will display in red.
Requested by -  This is the user who requested the record.
Requested Date - This is the date on which the record was requested.
Send to and Approved by -  This is the user who approved the record.
Approved Date - This is the date on which the record was approved.
