It is enabled if you have the function profile External Object with Add rights or the security profile EXTERNAL OBJECT ADMINISTRATOR with Add rights.
Add Button Business Rules:
| • | The filename and store must not have already been linked. |
| • | A description must be entered. |
| • | A revision must be entered. |
| • | A valid object type must be selected. |
| • | A valid security code must be selected. |
| • | A valid responsible person must be selected. |
| • | The status selected cannot be "check-in", "check-out" or static. |
| • | A valid status must be selected. |
| • | If the logged on person doesn't have the security profile External Object Administrator with Add rights then the status may only be "Evaluate". |
| • | If a store is selected then a file must also be selected. |
| • | The file name, revision and store combination must not yet exist in the system. |
