This option specifies whether the External Organisation Group is active or inactive. If checked, the code is active it will be displayed for selection on other functions. If UN-checked, the code is inactive and will not be displayed for selection on other functions.
When an attempt is made to delete an External Organisation Grouping Code but the attempt fails since other functions have already applied the code, the only option to prevent future use of the code is to UN-check the "Active" option. |
The function is subject to normal access control via security profiles to which the rights to add, change, delete and inquire linked. The add button will be enabled if you enter a code for which no match can be found in the External Org Grouping Code table. |

This is a field with a length of 255 characters where you can enter a description of the External Organisation Groups. |
External Organisation groups are populated from the External Org Grouping Code table and can be selected from there. If you enter data that does not match an existing group in this combo box, the add button will be enabled and you can add a new group. If an External Org group is selected, the form will be populated with the information regarding the group and changes to the existing external organization group can be made. |
