On this tab the following fields can be viewed:

 

hmtoggle_plus1Avtive

Indicates if the selected Location code is Active or not. Only active Location codes can be used elsewhere in the system.

Any active Location code, that has been used, can become inactive and vice-versa.

hmtoggle_plus1Add

You must have a security profile linked to the function Location Master with an access allowed of Add.

 

The "Add" button is enabled if a new location code, is entered in the code field.

 

When the "Add" button is clicked, the record is inserted into the Location Master table.

hmtoggle_plus1Available Applications

The available applications that may be linked to a location record are listed here. Select the applicable applications and click on the Link Application Button.

hmtoggle_plus1Change

You must have a security profile linked to the function Location Master with an access allowed of Change.

 

The "Change" button is enabled when an existing location code is selected.  When the "Change" button is clicked, the record in the Location Master table is updated.

hmtoggle_plus1Delete

You must have a security profile linked to the function Location Master with an access allowed of Delete.

 

The "Delete" button is enabled when an existing location code is selected.

 

When the "Delete" button is clicked, the selected location code record is deleted from the Location Master table.

 

This operation will not be performed if the Location Code is linked to an asset or piece of equipment or document.

This field is used to add a Location Description. The Location Description field has a maximum of 255 characters.

hmtoggle_plus1Link Application Button

When the applicable applications are selected in the Available Application list box, this button must be clicked to link them.

hmtoggle_plus1Linked Applications

The applications linked to a location record are listed here. Select the applications and click the Unlink Application Button to remove them.

hmtoggle_plus1Location

This field is used to add a new or select an existing Location Code. The Location Code field has a maximum of 20 characters.

hmtoggle_plus1Location Type

This field specifies the type of location I.e. On site, Rural etc.  This field is optional.

hmtoggle_plus1Quality Employee

This field is used to indicate the employee responsible for quality in the selected location. This field is optional.

hmtoggle_plus1Parent Location

This field is applied to group location codes into higher level Locations. The list of codes already specified is displayed for selection. You may select an existing parent location.

hmtoggle_plus1Responsible Employee

This field is used to indicate the responsible employee for the selected location. This field is optional.

hmtoggle_plus1Unlink Application Button

When the applications to be unlinked are selected in the Linked  Application list box, this button must be clicked to unlink them.
