Location Type

This function is used to specific types of locations. I.e. On site, Rural etc.  It is referenced on the Location Master function.

 

INQUIRE

You must have a security profile linked to the function Location Type with an access allowed of Inquire.

 

On this tab the following fields can be viewed:

You must have a security profile linked to the function Location Type with an access allowed of Add.

 

The "Add" button is enabled when a new location type is entered.   When the "Add" button is clicked, the following is performed:

 

It inserts the new location type and description into the Location Type table.

You must have a security profile linked to the function Location Type with an access allowed of Change.

 

The "Change" button is enabled when an existing location type is selected.  

 

When the "Change" button is clicked, the Location type table is updated with the latest values.

You must have a security profile linked to the function Location Type with an access allowed of Delete.

 

The "Delete" button is enabled when an existing location type is selected.  When the "Delete" button is clicked, the location type is deleted from the Location Type table.

 

The delete will not be performed if this Location Type exists on an existing Location Master record.

This is a short narrative description of the location type selected.

 

It is an alphanumeric field where the length must be between 3 and 255 characters (mandatory).

hmtoggle_plus1Type

This is a 10 characters unique identifier of the Location Type.

 

It is populated with the Location type and description from the Location Type table.

 

The number of characters to be entered before the list is shown is governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).
