Mail Messages

This function allows editing of mail messages.  A mail message can be set as inactive.  If a mail message is set as inactive, Qmuzik will refrain from

sending it.


The same message (number) can be kept in different languages.  If mail is to be sent to a person, Qmuzik will determine the employees Language Preference before selecting the mail message accordingly.


If the employee does not have a Language Preference, Qmuzik will use the Language, Default from System Configuration.


If the mail message does not exist in the preferred or default language, the "Original Master Copy" will be sent if Active.


On this tab the following fields can be viewed:



This switch will govern whether a mail message will be sent or just kept dormant in the system.


When checked, the message is active in all languages.  When unchecked the message is inactive in all languages.


Click on the "Apply" button to update the tables with the changes (additions) made to the mail messages (I.E. the mail message on the Mail Messages table is updated with the changes).


To delete a non "Original Master Copy" mail message, click Reset and Apply


This field displays the different languages in which mail messages can be stored against the same mail message number.


The language option "Original Master Copy" cannot be changed except for the Active switch.


It is populated with the language from the table Mail Messages.


The number of characters to be entered before the list is shown is governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).


This field displays the contents of the mail message.The message may be changed if the Language is not"Original Master Copy".


The "~~" characters represent the table values to bedisplayed.  Care should be taken in deleting or changingthese characters and thereby losing important mailinformation.


If the Reset button is clicked, the message will change to the message of the "Original Master Copy".


This is an internal identifier for mail messages.  The same mail message (same number) can be stored in various languages.  It is populated with the message number from the Mail Messages table.


The number of characters to be entered before the list is shown is governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).


When clicked, this button will reset the Subject and Message according to the values in the "Original Master Copy".


The number and language entered will be deleted from the Mail Messages table.


This field displays the name (label) of the mail message.  The name (label) may be changed if the Language is not "Original Master Copy".


If the Reset button is clicked, the subject will change to the subject of the "Original Master Copy".
