On this tab the following fields can be viewed:

 

hmtoggle_plus1Allocations

The purpose of this button is to enable the user to view requirements, allocated stock, unallocated stock and allocated WIP against the part number selected in the Parts lists box.

 

If no result(s) exists in the parts list box or a row (part number) was not selected in the parts list box then the Sales Allocation View function will not be opened when this button is clicked.

hmtoggle_plus1Catalogue

Only catalogue organisations will be populated that exist on the External Org Parts table. The catalogue name (Name on the External Organisation table) and code (Organsation Code on the External Org Parts table) will be populated when this combo box is opened.

hmtoggle_plus1Catalogue Part Numbers

The purpose of this frame is to enable the user to view the linked catalogue part number's sales price according to the selected catalogue and Price Valid On date. The sales price will be displayed in the currency as specified on the External Organisation (catalogue organisation).

 

A the linked catalogue part number will be displayed if the following conditions exist:

If a selling record exists for the part number (displayed in the Parts list box) against the selected catalogue organisation (where the PartNumber on the Part Master table is equal to the Organisation Part Number on the External Org parts table).

 

And a sales price will be displayed if the following exist:

If a selling record exists for the part number (Displayed in the Parts list box) against the selected catalogue organisation (the Part Number on the Part Master table is equal to the Organisation Part Number on the External Org Parts table).

And where the unit of measure code for the displayed part number is equal to the unit of measure code of the catalogue part number (the Unit of Measure Code on the Part Master table is equal to the UOM Code on the External Org Parts table).

And if the selected price valid on date exisits between the 'Date Form'(on the 'External Org Part Price' table) and 'Date To' (on the 'External Org Part Price' table).

This button will open the function, Part On Hold History, where this part can be put on hold or be changed to Un-On Hold.

 

The History of the On Hold status can also be viewed.

If the user selects the 'Beginning With.' option a number unequal to spaces must be specified. If the user selects the 'Equal To option, when opened the combo box will populate with 'Part Numbers' and 'Part Description' from the Part Master table.

 

It is not possible to click the 'Search' button if no number was selected, if either the 'Beginning With' or 'Equal to' check boxes were checked.

When this option is selected the part number and part description will be selected from the Part Master table in one of the following ways:

 

ON THE "PART MASTER CRITERIA" TAB:

 

If only Part Master Criteria is selected, the part number and part description will be displayed from the Part Master table.

 

ON THE "ADDITIONAL CRITERIA" TAB:

 

If only Standard Item Criteria is selected, the standard item number is selected from the Standard Item Master table.

 

The Standard Item Master table then joins to the Part Standard Item table which in turn joins with the Part Master table, to display the part number and part description for the Standard Item Criteria selected.

 

If only Characteristics / Characteristic Values are selected, the standard item number or part number is selected from the Characteristic Link table.

 

For parts that are not standard items, the Characteristic Link table joins directly to the Part Master table to return the part number and description.

 

If there are standard items that meet the characteristic search criteria, the Characteristic Link table must join to the Part Standard Item table to select the part number, and then join to the Part Master table to select the part number and part description.

hmtoggle_plus1Price Valid On

The purpose for selecting this date is to indicate which catalogue sales price should be displayed in the Parts list box.

 

The sales price will be displayed in the currency as selected on the External Organisation (catalogue organisation) if the following conditions apply:

 

If a selling record exists for the part number (Displayed in the Parts list box) against the selected catalogue organization (where the Part Number on the Part Master table is equal to the Organization Part Number on the External Org Parts table)

 

And where the unit of measure code for the displayed part number of equal to the unit of measure code of the catalogue part number (the Unit  Of Measure  Code on the Part Master table is equal to the UOM Code on the External Org Parts table).

 

And of the selected price valid on date exists between the 'Date From' (on the 'External Org Part Price table) and 'Date To' (on the 'External Org Part Price' table).

It is enabled when the user selects either "Part Numbers" or "Standard Item Numbers" and where the user is in possession of a profile that is linked to the screen Part Number Search with an access allowed of Inquire.

 

If the "Part Numbers" option is selected, the part number and part description will be selected from the Part Master table in one of the following ways:

 

ON THE "PART MASTER CRITERIA" TAB:

 

If only Part Master Criteria is selected, the part number and part description will be displayed from the Part Master table.

 

 

ON THE "ADDITIONAL CRITERIA" TAB:

         

If only Standard Item Criteria is selected, the standard item number is selected from the Standard Item Master table.

 

The Standard Item Master table then joins to the Part Standard Item table which in turn joins with the Part Master table, to display the part number and part description for the Standard Item Criteria selected.

 

If only Characteristics / Characteristic Values are selected, the standard item number or part number is selected from the Characteristic Link table.

The Part Master table then joins to the Part Standard Item table, which in turn joins to the Standard Item Master table to display the standard item number and approved item name for the part master criteria selected.

 

ON THE "ADDITIONAL CRITERIA" TAB:

 

If only Standard Item Criteria is selected, the standard item number and approved item name will be displayed from the Standard Item Master table for the Standard Item Criteria selected.

 

If only Characteristics and/or Characteristic Values are selected, the standard item number or part number is selected from the Characteristic Link table.  If standard item numbers are selected, the Characteristic Link table joins directly with the Standard Item Master to select the standard item number and approved item name.

 

If part numbers are selected, the Characteristic Link table is joined to the Part Standard Item table to select the standard item number.  The Part Standard Item table then joins to the Standard Item Master table to display the standard item number and approved item name for the Characteristics and/or Characteristic Values selected.

Depending on the option selected in the "Results To Be Shown." frame, the header displayed is either "Part Numbers" or "Standard Item Numbers".

 

If the option "Part Numbers" is selected, it is populated with part numbers and part descriptions from the Part Master, Part Standard Item and Standard Item Master tables where:

 

         The part number on the Part Master table is equal to the part number        on the Part Standard Item table, and

         The standard item number on the Part Standard Item table is equal to        the standard item number on the Standard Item Master table.

 

If the option "Standard Item Numbers" is selected, it is populated with standard item numbers and approved item names from the Part Master, Part Standard Item and Standard Item Master tables where:

 

The standard item number on the Part Standard Item table is equal to        the standard item number on the Standard Item Master table, and The part number on the Part Master table is             equal to the part number on the Part Standard Item table.

If only Standard Item Criteria is selected, the standard item number and approved item name will be displayed from the Standard Item Master table for the Standard Item Criteria selected.

 

If only Characteristics and/or Characteristic Values are selected, the standard item number or part number is selected from the Characteristic Link table.  If standard item numbers are selected, the Characteristic Link table joins directly with the Standard Item Master to select the standard item number and approved item name.

 

If part numbers are selected, the Characteristic Link table is joined to the Part Standard Item table to select the standard item number.  The Part Standard Item table then joins to the Standard Item Master table to display the standard item number and approved item name for the Characteristics and/or Characteristic Values selected.

The purpose of this button is to enable the user to view a selected part number's stock detail (Stock tab) on the Part Master function.

 

If a row or part master was selected and the user clicks on this button then the Part Master function will be opened with the selected part number defaulted in the part number combo box.

 

If no result(s) exists in the parts list box or a row (part number) was not selected in the parts list box then the part master function will not be opened when this button is clicked.

The purpose of this button is to enable the user to view a selected part number's supply and demand details, that was selected in the Parts list box.

 

If a row or part number was selected and the user clicks on this button then the Supply and Demand function will be opened with the selected part number defaulted in the part number combo box.

 

If no result(s) exists in the 'Parts' list box or a row (part number) was not selected in the parts list box then the Supply and Demand function will not be opened.

hmtoggle_plus1View Stock

This text box is by default checked on from load. When this check box is checked, the part number's stock on hand will be displayed in the Stock Quantity Column in the Parts list box.

 

This check box will only be enabled if the part numbers option was selected in the Results

To Be Shown frame.

 

The stock quantity will be calculated as follows:

 

If only the view stock check box is selected (Division combo box = spaces and the Store combo box = spaces) then the stock quantity is only calculated where the stock status on the location table for the part number is equal to new and not belonging to an external organisation (Client Furnished Items) as follows:

 

Stock Quantity = Quantity On Hand - (Quarantine Quantity + Allocated Quantity).

 

If the division is selected in the Division combo box then only stock belonging to the selected division will be used to calculate the stock quantity.

 

If the division is selected in the division combo box and the store in the Store combo box then the stock belonging to the selected division and store (belonging to the selected division) will be used to calculate the stock quantity.
