The purpose of this function is to provide the user with a breakdown of all Work Centres per Cost Centre, with the hours per each entity that are involved in the manufacture of a Part. The full product structure of the Part is taken into account - with all manufactured and phantom child parts and their structure taken into account. The Total Hours for the Parent Part is displayed and this will match up to the Cost Generation Cumulative Lead Time (excluding the cost ratio). The Totals can include non costed Operations and include or exclude the cost ratio in the calculation.The function will similar to “Product structure navigation” allow for selection of either the standard BOM (no project selected but an effective date specified) OR the selection of a project specific BOM (both project and project serial number specified). The BOM explosion will then follow the same extraction process and yield the same results as “Product Structure Navigation” when similar parameters are entered. Once the correct BOM explosion is done, thus extracting the correct parts with sources M (Manufactured), N (Phantom) and I (Interplant) the joins to Part Operations will take place and the logic here will be the same as when Order Operations are created for a production order line with or without a project.

The functionality was changed to allow the user to drill down to the operation level.

On the tab “Detail Report”  the user can now view the detail data. The detail data is shown for the parameters select on the detail tab.

Filters are also provided to filter the detail data in the list view. The default option is “Show all”.

 

On this tab the following fields can be viewed:

This option is ticked by default and will include the Cost Ratio - as defined on the Part Operations function - in the calculation of the total operation hours per Work Centre and Cost Centre. If you un-tick this option then the Cost Ratio is excluded in the calculation and the totals will match the Cost Generation Cumulative Lead Time (Hours).

hmtoggle_plus1Include Non Costed Operations

This option is ticked by default and will include any operations that are not costed - as defined on the Part Operations function - in the calculation of the total operation hours per Work Centre and Cost Centre. If you un-tick this option then only operations in the full product structure that are Costed operations will be included in the results.

A valid Part Number from the Part Master function can be selected here.  The results in the list box takes into account the full product structure for this parent part.  When the Show button is clicked then all Cost Centres and Work Centres with the correct operation hours will be displayed for this part.

 

The number of characters to be entered before the list is shown is governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).

A valid Project can only be selected once a Part Number is selected. This combo will display all Projects giving the user the added ability to extract required hours for any project specific product structure. . When the Show button is clicked then all Cost Centres and Work Centres involved in the part and the specific project - with the correct operation hours for each - will be displayed in a tree structure in the list box.

The Show button will process the query to show all cost centres and work centres and total operation hours for each in the list box in the format of a tree structure.

This list box displays the parent part with total operation hours. This can be exploded further to show all the cost centres involved in the product structure and total operation hours for each. Each Cost Centre can then be exploded further to show all Work Centres involved and total operation hours for each. The data can also be exported to various external formats like MS Excel by clicking in the list box, pressing F1 and select 'Export'.

The default quantity will be one (1). the quantity is used by the function in calculating the hours required to manufactire the quantity specified.
