This function is used to select multiple printers per screen (function) per user (host). The number of copies per printer can also be specified.
This function is invoked from the screen (function) where the print is initiated. Once records exist, they can be edited directly from this function.
If no printers existed for a function, report, host combination, the first click on "Print" will open this function where printers can be selected and applied. Close this function and click "Print" again to print to the selected printer.
This function will allow the user to specify originals at more than one printer and more than one copy. The function invoking the printing will however, prevent the printing of multiple originals where justified.

When the "Apply" button is clicked, the changes in the grid are physically updated on the database.
INSERTING The user must have a security profile linked to the function Print Library User Defaults with an access allowed of Add.
When inserting new print library user defaults, the screen name, report name, and host name is inserted in the Print Library User Defaults table.
UPDATING The user must have a security profile linked to the function Print Library User Defaults with an access allowed of Change.
When updating print library user defaults, the screen name, report name, and host name on the Print Library User Defaults table are updated.
DELETE The user must have a security profile linked to the function Print Library User Defaults with an access allowed of Delete.
When deleting print library user defaults, the screen name, report name, and host name are deleted from the Print Library User Defaults table. |
The selected printers and copies are listed for the screen (function) name, report name, and user host name.
If the "Delete" column is clicked followed by "Apply", the printer is removed.
Additional printers may be selected from the "Printer Name" column. The "Copies" column displays the number of copies to be printed for the selected printer. |
It is populated with the report name from the Print Library User Defaults table for the selected screen name I.E. it is populated with the report name needed by the invoking function. |
It is populated with the (function) name of the invoking function from the Print Library User Defaults table where the host name is equal to the signed on user ID. |
It is a read only field that is populated with the sign on ID of the signed on user. |
