Purpose

The "Add" button is enabled when a new code is entered.

When the "Add" button is clicked, the new product family code, and description are inserted in the Product Family table.

The user must have a security profile linked to the function Product Family with an access allowed of Add.

The "Change" button is enabled when an existing product family code is selected.

When the "Change" button is clicked, the description field on the Product Family table is updated with the new description

Tips

The number of characters to be entered before the list is shown is governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).

Purpose

When the "Delete" button is clicked, the unit of measure record of the selected unit of measure code, on the Product Family table is deleted.

The operation will not be performed where:

The Product Family Code exists on the Product Master table.

It is a short narrative description of the code (mandatory). It is an alphanumeric field with a maximum length of 255characters.

This list box displays the product codes and their descriptions from the Product Master table where the specific product family code appears in the Product Master record.
