This tab is applied to specify stock application rules, specifically with regards to the different stock statuses.
The Product manager and sales manger can both set these rules, thus governing which stock statuses can be applied for the different order types.
The product rules are enforced when order line requirements are added or maintained. Requirements can only request the application of a specific stock status if it is allowed for the Order type and product via these settings.
It may not be desired that used or repaired stock be applied when new products are manufactured, but the application of these statuses may be acceptable when repair or reworks are performed.

When requirements for an order line are created or maintained, the requirements function will validate, according to the order line product code and it's stock application rules, which stock statuses can be selected on requirements of the order line.
The user must have a security profile linked to the function Product Master with an access allowed of Inquiry and Change and must be either the assigned Product Manager or Sales Manager.
