Navigation:  Engineering > Product Structure > X Files 47 > Effective Date

This selection is used by the Product Structure function to determine

which Parent-Component links are active when Show Active is selected

under the View Parts frame.

 

ACTIVE

A Parent-Component link is deemed active on a specific day if:

 

The effectivity date of the link is less than/equal to the effectivity

date selected and the Link Status Code is "Added", or

 

The effectivity date of the link is greater than the effectivity date

selected and the Link Status Code is "Removed".

 

INACTIVE

A Parent-Component link is deemed inactive on a specific day if:

 

The effectivity date is less than or equal to the current date

and the Link Status Code is equal to "Removed", or

 

The effectivity date is greater than the current date and the

Link Status Code is equal to "Added".
