Manufacturing Change Button

The user must be in possession of a profile that is linked to the screen

Product Structure with an access allowed of Change.

 

The "Change" button is enabled if an item in the "Linked Parent" or

"Linked Components" list box.  Any changes to an item in the structure

are ECP protected. If the field ECP Control Product Structure on

System Configuration has a value of:

 

1.        "No", ECP control is not applied.

 

2.        "XDM", ECP control is applied irrespective of the development

cycle of the selected maintained parent part.

 

3.        "ADM", ECP control is applied except where the development

cycle of the selected maintained parent part is "XDM".

 

4.        "EDM", ECP control is applied except where the development

cycle of the selected maintained parent part is "XDM" or "EDM".

 

5.        "PPM", ECP control is applied if the development cycle of the

         selected maintained parent part is "PPM", "PM", "PP" or "OBS".

 

6.        "PM", ECP control is applied if the development cycle of the

         selected maintained parent part is "PM", "PP" or "OBS".

 

When the "Change" button is clicked the Product Structure table

is updated where the parent part number is equal to the selected

parent, and the component part number is equal to the selected

part.
