This is used to indicate if the region is currently active in terms of business dealings. Simply click it off to indicate inactive. Only active Regions can be selected when a Country is added. A Region cannot be made inactive when the region is linked to a country.

When clicked the region will be added to the Region table.

The following rules apply:

.The Country Code must be unique and not Spaces.

.The description must be at least 3 characters and is mandatory,

.You must have a security profile linked to the function Region with an access allowed of Add

When clicked the region details will be updated on the Region table.

The following rules apply:

.The description must be at least 3 characters,

.You must have a security profile linked to the function region with an access allowed of Change.

.If changed to inactive there may not be any countries linked to this region.

When clicked the Region details will be deleted from the Region table.  The delete will only work if the region does not exist on Country table.

You must have a security profile linked to the function Region with an access allowed of delete.

This field displays the description linked to the region code selected. It describes the region.

This field is use to uniquely identify a Region. On selecting the field it will display the code and the region description and populates from the Region table.

It is an alphanumeric field and the number of characters to be entered before the list is shown will be governed by the value of "populate length" (mandatory).
