The function is applied to view all the detail related to Sales revenue, Cost of sales and Advance payments for a specific Sales order line.

A Sales order number and line has to be selected, and once done, the function will display some detail of the Sales contract, as well as the Sales value and the Cost of sales to date in the 2 applicable lists.

All values are expressed in the base currency.

The Sales to date list displays the detail of all Invoices and Credit notes relating to the sales order line, with the detail time stamps for all events, the current status of the invoices/credit notes and the associated ship quantities and delivery note numbers where applicable.

The list does not include Invoices for Advance payments (which has a separate display on the 2nd tab).

The list has a net value (sum) for all the transaction listed.

The Cost of sales to date list displays the detail of all cost of sales for material, labor and overhead and the Invoices and Credit notes it relates to, with the detail time stamps for all events, the current status of the invoices/credit notes and the associated ship quantities and nodes/accounts where applicable.

The list has a net value (sum) for all the transaction listed.

The 2nd tab provides a list for all advance payments invoiced to date and also contains a Summary of Sales and Cost of sales values with a calculated GPM% (gross profit margin).

The summary also displays the values already posted to the GL as revenue and cost of sales (i.e. those invoices and credit notes already print-approved or printed/confirmed where the approval transaction posted the journals to the relevant income statement accounts and the trade accounts receivable account).

Quick jumps to this function is also provided from the Customer Orders function (line additional tab provides the button) and the Sales analysis function (a "jump to" list contains this and other functions).
