It is a read only field that displays the lead time from the Part Master table where the part number matches the number the user entered.

It is a span of time required to perform an activity.  In a logistics context, the time between recognition of the need for an order and the receipt of goods.  Individual components of lead time can include order preparation, queue time, move or transportation time, receiving and inspection time.
