This function is used to define alternative Transport methods. The Transport Method is used by the following functions:

Note: If the Tax Policy is set to "GST" and an interface exists with a third party tax system, the Transport method becomes mandatory on most of the functions mentioned above. It is also important to map your Transport Codes to values that the third party tax system can understand. This is done via the Tax Interface System function.
Inquire:
The user must have a security profile linked to the function Transport Method with an access of Inquire.
The following Transport Methods options are recommended as a standard:

When clicked, the Transport Method will be recorded on the Transport Method table provided the user has a security profile linked to the function Transport Method with an access of Add. |
When clicked, the changes to the Transport Method will be recorded on the Transport Method table provided the user has a security profile linked to the function Transport Method with an access of Change. |
This field allows further description or comments about the Transport Method. It is not mandatory. |
When clicked, the Transport Method will be removed from the Transport Method table under the following conditions: The user must have a security profile linked to the function Transport Method with an access of Delete, The Transport Method may not appear on any of the following tables: Container, and |
